Welcoming A New Era: All the Stars Eventually Fall
September and three-year increments could become a pattern in my publishing habits. Today, I’m thrilled to announce that my next novel, All the Stars Eventually Fall, will be available to read exclusively on Kindle on September 1.
One of the wildest things about this story is that I began writing it back in 2024. At the time, I hoped to traditionally publish this title, but the way that publishing works is that sometimes it’s not your time. When I decided to shelve All the Stars Eventually Fall, after over a hundred failed queries, there was no intention that this project would ever see the light of day. That changed mere days ago, on August 17.
With the rise in acceptance of AI-generated “art”, I found myself angry, but more eager than ever to share my work with the world, one that demands more humanity. Even if the world consists of only ten people. All the Stars Eventually Fall is a novel that was built from the observation of the world feeling fragile and small. I wrote it when there was a loss of hope and weakening perseverance, a time when social media stars were being mourned at a rate greater than the stars filling the sky.
That’s something artificial intelligence could never capture. No matter how many prompts you provide.
All the Stars Eventually Fall is a story that travels through endless tunnels of darkness, but as the saying goes, there's light at the end of every tunnel. I hope that you see it when you turn that final page.
If you’ve found yourself here, on my website, reading about this story, welcome. I’m grateful you’re here, that you’ve taken the time to read this sporadic blog, and I hope you enjoy this story of friendship, resilience, fragility, stardom, and the cages that come with it.
Yours truly,
Marcello Kline
